4Service Offshore

In record time, 4Service has developed to become a leading player in offshore catering and we provide catering services to some of the largest oil, gas and rig companies on both the Norwegian continental shelf and in several other countries. With our broad experience derived from operating production platforms, flotels and drilling rigs on the Norwegian and Danish continental shelves, we have acquired knowledge and expertise from some of the largest operating and rig companies in the North Sea. This knowledge forms the basis for the development of our groundbreaking operating concepts and our innovative HSE and quality system.

After many years of working in an international group, we have also acquired extensive experience of global cooperation within the offshore business. We have retained large parts of our global network and now benefit from international inspiration and new international trends. Combined with our extensive experience here in Norway, where local regulations and cultural peculiarities are addressed in a satisfactory manner, we have everything we need for ensuring that our catering operations fully comply with the requirements and expectations of clients, guests, employees and the authorities.

Services

At 4Service, we have a strong focus on multidisciplinarity, i.e. training employees so that they are able to master several tasks. In addition to providing high-quality food and cleaning services, we also provide a wide range of additional indoor and outdoor accommodation services. These additional services vary from customer to customer, but common to all our customers is that our additional services are increasing year by year, both in scope and complexity.

Canteen services

Our guests spend long periods of time offshore and their tours can become monotonous if everyday lives are not spiced up with good food and good services. The meals should be the highlight of the day and the surrounding framework should help create a sense of well-being. With our canteen services our customers and guests obtain a wide range of hot and cold dishes based on healthy, tasty and nutritious options - from morning to evening.

We are committed to serving healthy and nutritious dishes for both our Norwegian and international guests. We therefore offer a varied diet based on Norwegian home cooking supplemented with more trendy and international dishes and our menus are the result of close collaboration between our chefs, our product range and our nutritionist. We also arrange theme days when the menu consists of exotic and exciting dishes from all corners of the world.

Cleaning and laundry services

With our offshore cleaning and laundry concept we ensure innovative and reliable deliveries which involve the systematisation of training, the environment, ergonomics and the right equipment.

4Service ensures that the quality of cleaning and laundry services is maintained at a high level by providing good training and management, good equipment and machinery, as well as environmentally friendly quality products from Ecolab. Our plans involve significant use of mechanical cleaning methods in order to reduce both customer costs and the risk of strain injuries occurring among our cleaning personnel.

Other services

By focusing on multidisciplinarity we ensure that our employees are trained so that they are able to master several offshore tasks. This provides us with the competence to deliver a wide range of additional important indoor and outdoor accommodation services such as:

  • Helicopter Landing Officer (HLO) and Helideck Assistant (HDA)
  • Our HLO and HDA enable us to manage day-to-day operations on helicopter decks and keep platform managers informed about helicopter deck and essential equipment status. They also possess knowledge about how to cope with various difficulties and emergencies.
  • Welfare coordinator responsible for the well-being of guests involving activities such as spinning, film and bingo nights, etc.
  • Kiosk for magazines, newspapers, snacks and sweets
  • Contingency tasks such as lifeboat operators, first aiders and search teams
  • Temporary staff services (catering manager, chef, cleaner)
